Fundraising
"Through the cooperation of our wonderful supporters, donors, corporate partners and volunteers, we want to offer the extraordinary Garton Family the best quality of life possible including the experience of laughter, shared joy and treasured memories with important people in their lives."
Eamonn Geraghty, Project Leader

The Garton Family Project is a non profit venture and all work done is on a voluntary basis or where necessary, at a greatly subsidized cost.

Monies received from our fund raising activities and donations will be used to:
  • Provide the Garton Family with a holiday in Ireland
  • Provide a lump sum to secure their financial future
  • Make a financial contribution to kindred Irish charities operating within the areas of Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida and Special Olympics Ireland.

Audited accounts will be prepared and posted on this web site on completion of the project expected in September, 2005.

“I was delighted to win 3 golds at the Special Olympics Games 2003, it changed my life. My chance to come back to Ireland with my brother, sisters and parents is fantastic!”
